Case Study

Building a New Communications Operating Model

To sustain business performance and company culture through rapid growth, leadership of a regional telecommunications service provider was seeking strategic counsel and hands-on support to develop a new internal communications strategy and function.

Our Approach:

We conducted an in-depth review of existing communications channels, content, strategic messaging, team roles and process. Based on industry best practices, we developed recommendations for the new internal communication team’s structure and phased implementation, partnered with the chief human resources officer (CHRO) and Communications Director on suggested revisions to foundational messages and strategy, prepared materials to gain broad leadership buy-in and provided tools and process guides to enable successful adoption and execution.

Outcome:

The CHRO and Communications Director received CEO approval for proposed changes to company vision, mission and values and support to implement team and strategy recommendations.
